2.5 kW Solar & 1 kW Wind Off-Grid System

An off-grid 2.5 kW solar PV system and 1 kW Kestrel wind system provide power for UNL Furs, a leather and hide tanning and finishing business. The system is powered with OutBack FLEXware system housing three OutBack inverter/chargers, two charge controllers and all the required AC and DC components and wiring. Deep cycle SolarOne batteries are connected to this off-grid "hybrid" solar and wind system.
