Residential 5.9 kW Grid-Tied Solar System

With escalating electricity costs, this couple decided to take action to stop paying so much to their utility! They installed a 5.9 kW grid-tied solar system and increased energy efficiency measures. The system includes Kyocera 210 Watt solar panels and a Sunny Boy 6000US inverter to convert the DC power produced by the panels into usable AC power for the home and to send back to the grid if more is produced than they use.
