Residential 6.3 kW Grid-Tied Solar System

With a shaded house, this large 6.3 kW grid-tied solar system was installed on the barn roof. Because the roof is nearly flat, the solar PV panels required additional racking to get an optimal angle for solar collecting. The solar panels are Kyocera KD210 modules with a Sunny Boy 7000US inverter.

Precise measurements of angles and distances was required in the installation of the 6.3 kW Grid-Tied Solar System on the roof so that the shadows from front panels do not obscure back rows.
