Residential 3.3 kW Solar Grid-Tied System

Utilizing open land space, this homeowner opted to install a free-standing ground mount solar system. The racks were assembled and installed onto below-ground concrete shafts. The Kyocera KD PV modules were installed on the racks and connected to the OutBack inverter/charger system indoors, utilizing a battery back-up and generator system to also run separate from the utility. It incorporates a DC to AC sinewave inverter, battery charger and AC transfer switch.
